My friend Jen got her lactation consultant certification after we both had the breastfeeding issues with our first children (she used the lactation consultant I used) Her baby breastfed well but she had some physical issues to overcome (Kennedy had a problem that made her suck differently) If you have problems call Jen...she is great!!!

Like night and later that night
So I thought that Taylor was going to be low maintenance since Tanner was high...well not the case. While we had issues with Tanner breastfeeding and it took so much to resolve them we did resolve them. Now Taylor has the opposite issue...she nurses great but wouldn't take the bottle. With the help from an army we now have her taking the bottle during the day and even managed to mix in some formula to the breastmilk. It has been a challenge to find the right formula. Some make her to gassy and she threw up the soy twice. I am now trying the lactose free...keep your fingers crossed. I have been able to pump a good amount but want to make sure things are well established before going back to work. She knows what she wants and is a tough girl to change her mind.

More reasons I love my Husband
Yesterday Matt brought me home some turtles that I had seen through the window at Pier 1 from him and candy and a teddy bear from Taylor and Tanner for Valentines Day. The card from Tanner and Taylor were or two bull dog puppies one male and one female (the female had a red and white polka dot bow). The card from Matt was of a cat hugging a chiwawa(sp?) and the inside said how our weird way working. We have a weird way and we can be so different sometimes, but no one knows me like he does. Those cards would be the same ones that I would have gotten for him if I had seen them. I had only mentioned the turtles once and he remembered. He is the most thoughtful man I know (even though I'm sure he doesn't want his buddies to know this). Thank you for such a wonderful Valentines Day baby.

Happy Valentines Day
Matt is my valentine!!!I love my husband for his strength and confidence that makes me feel so safe. I love his softness especially watching him with our children. I don't know that he is more attractive than when he is comforting or playing with Tanner. when he has Tanner on his lap reading to him makes me smile. I love that even when we are having a disagreement that I know we will be ok. I love his loyalty, his pride (sometimes), and his work ethic (sometimes). He knows why the sometimes are in there. I love his higs and kisses that aways leave me wanting more. Most of all I love that he is my best friend, husband, and father of my children and we have had a wonderful life that will only continue to be a special blessing. I love you always Matt!!!!

No Pics But We have RSV
Sorry no pictures today. I haven't taken any new ones the past few days because our little jelly bean Taylor has RSV. For those of you who don't know it is a virus that infects the lungs. We thought she just caught Tanner's cold, but in babies her age it turns into RSV and is more serious. We have to give her Singular at night and do breathing treatments every four hours to keep her breathing easier. The Dr. also said that she will stay crabby and sick like this for a week and we have to do treatment for two weeks. She slept in her car seat to keep her upright the night before last and last night she was in her swing. I feel so bad for her becuase she sometimes has these coughing fits and goop is coming out of everywhere, even one of her eyes. I just hope this clears up and she doesn't get worse. Unfortnately if she does get worse she may have to be hospitalized. I don't think that will happen but I am preparing myself for anything. Please keep our little one in your thoughts and prayers right now for a quick, full recovery.
I'll post pictures when she is better.
