What a precious miracle you are to your mommy and daddy. It was such a long, emotional road to finally be blessed with you and you cannot imagine how much joy you have brought into our lives. Your beautiful smile makes me smile everytime I see you or think about you. You are so happy and playful. I don't know how we keep up with you most days. You love your sister so much and have taught her the good (and the bad). I love watching you and hearing all of the things you learn everyday. The way you love animals (wow you are so much like your mommy), reading, the water, building and exploring amazes us everyday. Oh my little Tan Tan, you are such a sweet special boy and your mommy, daddy, and sissy all love you very much. Happy 3rd Birthday!!!!

So Tanner is about to be three years old this weekend and I am sorry to report, but he is already a movie buff. I know bad bad mommy, but he can work the TV and DVD player like a pro. Sometimes he can figure it out even when I can't...Ahhh...a new game show "Are you more tech savvy than a three year old?" And the movie that has put Cars, Night at the Museum, and Ice Age on the back burner is Meet the Robinsons. He can't get enough of it. When I actually watched the whole thing with him, he looked back at me when Louis was finally adopted and smiled at me before giving me a hug and a kiss. He was so happy for Louis it was so sweet. AHHHHH, my rough and tumbly boy has such a sensitive side...I love that about him.

First Fireworks 4th For TNT

This was the first fireworks 4th for Tan and Taylor. Tanner loved sparklers. Had I known that I would'nt have wasted money on the other fireworks. Has anyone else noticed that fireworks are just not the same as when we were growing up? I remember them being big, shooting high, and lots of colors. We didn't have a fire from those (I know that has always been a concern), so why make them so weak now? At least the kids thought they were cool, that's what really matters.

First Disney Adventure

We had a very full four day trip to California for our first Disney trip. Can you say "what nap?" Tanner's favorite ride was Jungle Cruise. He could tell you all the animals he saw. The guide gave him a map of the jungle the last time we went on it so he could tell everyone where he saw different animals. Taylor, well lets just say she liked a short line and being out of the stroller. Daddy, lets just say he loved it when Taylor was content. It was a good time and of course I am already planning another trip :-) Here are some pics of the trip...enjoy!!

Mickey's house...nice piano...Tanner couldn't figure out how it played on its own.

Taylor loved Minnie's house...she just didn't like the idea of Minnie holding her.

Aren't they sweet??? I am pretty darn lucky.

Cheese!!!! I am king and I got all of the princesses digits ;-)Not until 16...really?!

A New Post ... Well kinda sorta...time does not come easily these days and I have to eat lunch, shop online, look at new house listings and blog all in the next few minutes because I have nine reports to write by the end of the day for work....good luck me. Let's just call it what it is...I have been bad, very bad. Blog...what blog? Pictures...what pictures? You ask what keeps me away....what keeps me from downloading the very few pictures I have taken of the kids...what has been sucking every last drop of life out of me...TRYING TO FIND A NEW STINKIN HOME OF MY DREAMS :-O
Every night I get the question from my hubby "You find us a house yet?" I have to tell you prices are good, but this whole short sale and foreclosure thing is for the birds. It has sucked any fun out of getting a new house. I promise to be better and hiopefully will be able to report that we found a home really soon !!!!!

Tanner adores his great grandma Syl AKA GG. While his other grandmother and I were making a Costco run, GG helped hubby with bath and bedtime. This is reading time before bed. She was always the best grandma taking us everywhere (beach looking for sea shells, La Brea Tar Pits, flying kites) and now has the title for best GG.

The babies aunties lost their favorite little kittie named Monkey this week. Monkey used to act a litle like a cat, a little like a dog, a little like a monkey, and the way they described her a little like a person. Needless to say, they are very sad about her unexpected passing and we just wanted to tell them

Well we really didn't think that Taylor could walk earlier than Tanner since he did it at 11 months, but ding ding ding, we have a winner. She just couldn't let him do everything first, so she took her first steps a few days past her ten month mark. Way to go Bean, Way to go. But sorry Taylor, Tanner can count to ten on his own already and yes he did do that first.

This was in today's edition of the Las Vegas Sun Newspaper (click on the blog title for the website) Yes, he is a great guy!!!

Investigators with the district attorney’s office are licensed peace officers, but they usually don’t deal with crime on the streets.

While driving on East Cheyenne Avenue in North Las Vegas this week, however, investigators Matthew Johns and Jamie Honaker foiled an armed robbery.

Johns and Honaker noticed a woman in distress trying to flag down motorists for help at a bus stop and shortly afterward spotted a man riding a bicycle with a purse hanging on the handle bars. They pulled over the bicyclist and were questioning him, when he reached for something in his waistband. That prompted the investigators to restrain the man and call North Las Vegas police for assistance.

Johns and Honaker found a five-inch folding knife on the bicyclist. They later learned from police the woman alleged the bicyclist had threatened her with that knife when he robbed her of her purse.

We went to Town Square to have some safe street treating. They had music (some kid singing...um yea I'll call it singing)and lots of candy, booths and kids. kids. kids kids. Heather Siegel (Halloween Experience)was out there working hard as always and she ran up on us. We then met up with Tanner's buddy, Kennedy, her new sister Kadyn and their mommies. It was a good time and over by six which was good for dinner and since the kids weren't feeling to hot AGAIN. Here are some pics.

On a bow note...Jen your bows are done, but the email Kim gave me keeps getting kicked back. Laurie...yours have been started and should be done this weekend :-)

The Side Gig

I really need to work on my pictures when it is light out and I am not so tired. Here are some of the BOWS, CORKERS, AND HAIR CLIPPIES I have been working on lately. Matt thought it would be a good way for me to get my fix for making them without having so many that Taylor just could never get around to wearing. I have already sold a couple and will be using some of my friends kids as marketing tools. I don't know if I am ready to go online yet. Not sure about that kind of time commitment with my full time job and family. Time wil tell though. So Laurie, Kim, everyone...I do custom orders too....so let me know what you want and I will take care of it especially for YOU!!! Some of these have been made for little girls in private school who like to outdo each other on special bows

Others are for the holidays ahead or just cute little outfits for fall and winter (if you cant tell I love polka dots)
Now I just need to work on daytime pictures when the kids are napping and different angles. Hopefully Shannon will have some ideas to help me with packaging :-)

Bonnie Springs

We fed the deer and the ducks and ended with a ride on the train. I think Tanner had as good of a time as I did :-)

I have been a bad bad blogger. I have to say it must be because of the 3 ring circus that is our home.

The kids were sick for a while, work has been hectic, we have been trying to do as much fun stuff with the kids on our time off as possible, and then there is sleep. Taylor is crawling and pulling herself up on everything, eating cheerios and bananas, and trying to keep up with her brother. She is already working her dad so she can do whatever she wants. Tanner is calling to me as we speak (he would still be up if I let him). He is talking up a storm, using the potty (mainly in the evening), and keeping me on my toes.

Next up my new side business venture.

Celebrate the Memory of Bunny

Bunny was my kitty since I was twenty one years old, which was a really long time ago. She and I found each other in a move and she ended up being mine for the seventeen years she was on this earth. She went through several name changes as I couldn't find a name that really suited her, but for some strange reason Bunny just ended up being the one that fit. She had fur as soft as a bunny so I guess there's our name. She loved to snuggle and keep me warm. She put up with several moves, an addition of another cat, a dog, a husband/daddy, and two babies. She let Tanner pet her whenever he wanted with no complaints. She even let Taylor pick her up when she had such a grip on her ear and fur and never lashed out. We'll miss her greeting first thing in the morning, following everyone around the house, and tormenting Jasmine. Who will Jasmine chase now? She was a dream kitty and we all will miss her very much. Love you my Bun Bun.

We got the call from Dr. Fisch "YOU'RE PREGNANT!!!!" After three rounds of IVF we finally got our BFP. I was just so excited to be pregnant I didn't care if we had a boy or girl...until...I started shopping. It amazed me how much girl stuff there was and it was soooooooooo pretty. I was never a pink girl but I became one. I snapped out of that really fast when the peri said "we'll your baby has three legs". No really he said that (and despite how corney he was I really liked him). I have to admit I was a little disappointed to not get the pretty little dresses and pink fluffy bedding...that was until I met him. I never knew how much I could love another being until I met Tanner (yes I love my husband, but it is different as I'm sure most of you know). Tanner, your smile lights up a room. Your high pitch scream gets everyones attention. Your blue eyes and long curled eyelashes are unreal. Your energy, fearlessness, creativity, and love of life amaze me everyday. There is nothing in the world that makes me happier than coming home from being away and hearing you yell "Mommy" "Mom" "Mamma" over and over again until you get to me, hold out your arms, until I pick you up, you kiss mommy hello and tell me about your day. Daddy loves when you kiss him, wave and say "bye bye". He loves wrestling around with you on the floor and before bed cuddling up and reading with you. We are amazed everyday at how lucky we are to have our Tan Tan Bubba Man!! Happy 2nd Birthday!!! While Tanner loves Mockingbird, mamma still tries to sing this to him from time to time (despite my lack of vocal skills). I played it to him everyday after the fifth month, when I was pregnant with him.
